Mission India-ism..... Concept by - Dr. Milind Jiwane

*** Mission India-ism....
Bodhisatva Dr. B.R. Ambedkar , father of Indian constitution said, “I am Indian first and Indian last.” Due to sad demise of Dr Ambedkar on December 6, 1956, this mission could not spread in India and anywhere.  Even it is very shameful thing for every Indian Government, spiritual leaders, political leaders, Social activists as well as thinkers, who are not sharing their honest contribution for spreading mission of India-ism or nationalism.  Indian political parties are seemed to be busy for their caste, creed, and region and languages basis politics. Their motto is to earn personal gain only and not the nation development. These people speak more by mouth about nation feelings as well as society development policy but by heart their mentality cum activities seems to be selfish.  Now it is seen that, Indian politics run on caste spirit basis. Since the time we got independence we entered in “Free India,” but there is no change at all in the Indian society except one major change. i.e.  replacing white English man to black English man.”
Dr Ambedkar delivered his speech on the occasion of presenting “Constitution of India” in the constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, he said,” On the 26th of January 1950, India would be a democratic country in the sense that India from that day would have a government of the people, by the people and for the people. The same thought comes to my mind. What would happen to her democratic Constitution? Will she be able to maintain it or will she lose it again? This is the second thought that comes to my mind and makes me as anxious as the first. …………. On the 26th of January 1950, we are going to enter into a life of contradictions. In politics we will have equality and in social and economic life we will have inequality. In politics we will be recognizing the principle of one man one vote and one vote one value. In our social and economic life, we shall, by reason of our social and economic structure, continue to deny the principle of one man one value. How long shall we continue to live this life of contradictions? ……… “Independence is no doubt a matter of joy. But let us not forget that this independence has thrown on us great responsibilities. By independence, we have lost the excuse of blaming the British for anything going wrong. If hereafter things go wrong, we will have nobody to blame except ourselves. There is great danger of things going wrong. Times are fast changing. People including our own are being moved by new ideologies. They are getting tired of Government by the people. They are prepared to have Governments for the people and are indifferent whether it is Government of the people and by the people. If we wish to preserve the Constitution in which we have sought to enshrine the principle of Government of the people, for the people and by the people, let us resolve not to be tardy in the recognition of the evils that lie across our path and which induce people to prefer Government for the people to Government by the people, nor to be weak in our initiative to remove them. That is the only way to serve the country. I know of no better.”
Every common man as well as Indians thinking for their bread and butter or someone think for their luxurious life. Nation development issue is not concerned with them or they don’t worry about it. It is due to self centered quality, we are facing corruption, unemployment, poverty, price rising like issues in India. For that Congress Raj as well as other political parties is responsible for nation loss.  We people are also responsible for our un-development and nation loss because we follow these political parties and their government blindly without evaluating their work.
Some one may ask that what India-ism is!  It is very simple definition that “feelings of I am Indian first and Indian last is India-ism.”  Someone may say that “I love India” is enough but it is not the substitute for India-ism. Love feeling and nation spirit feeling both are different one.  Love issue is very narrow subject. But Nation spirit feelings are related with development of the nation as well as its society. In another word we can say that India-ism is Nationalism. There is no scope for Hindu Nationalism, Buddhist Nationalism, Islam Nationalism, Christianity Nationalism, State Nationalism, Language Nationalism, and Region Nationalism and so on. Every man of the society has been given rights by the “Constitution of India” to worship their gods and religion. But it is objective thought. The question is, if the nation is not in existing, how  our rights exist! It means our identity is depending on the existence of nation. So our main religion is “Indian” and all other religions are secondary. In other words we can say that this is “India-ism or Nationalism.”
At last, our mission “Nationalism or India-ism” is not an organization. Our mission is to create feelings of India-ism. So we appeal to all Indians to join with us or you are free to move this mission by your own groups.  Here is no place for leadership. Our motto is to build strong India. Our motto is to respect our “Indian Constitution.” We must know the preamble of Indian constitution. We must hang the copy of preamble of Indian constitution in every home of India. One more our issue is to work for building the “Nation” and not the “Country.”
