The Buddhist Society of India & Dr. Milind Jiwane's headed Ashwaghosh Buddhist Foundation has jointly organized "1st International Buddhist Conference 2015" at Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande Cultural Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur (India) on October 21, 2015 under chairpersonship of Mrs. Dr. P.G. Jyotikar and Hon. Chandrabodh Patil was Co-chairamanship. Dr. Milind Jiwane was welcome Chairman. The conference was inaugurated by the hand of Ven. Banagal Upatissa Nayaka Thero (President of Mahabodhi Society of srilanka). Ven. Waskaduwe mahindawansa mahanayaka Thero (Srilanka), Ven. Olande thero (Srilanka), Ven. Thic nhat tu (Vietnam), Ven. Dong Minh (Vietnam) , Ven Sonam Dorjee (Bhutan) were chief Guests. Hon. Bandula Weerwardhane (Srilanka), Hon. Navin Gunrante (Film Director of Srilanka), Dr. R S Kureel (VC, Dr Ambedkar University, Mhow), Hon. gagan Malik (Film star), Dr C D Naik (Mhow), Ms. Roshni d Sharam (Srilanka), Ms. Hai Hanh (Australia), Mrs. Madhusri Bhattacharya (Play Back singer) were Guests of Honor. Hon. V S Mokale , Dr. Harish Rawaliawere specially present on this occasion.
