*** Sangha & SSD can Build-up a New India .... By Dr. Milind Jiwane

*** Sangh & SSD can build-up a new India ....…!

The formation period of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and Samata Sanik Dal  (SSD) is near about the same era. The aim of formation of RSS is different one but the aim of formation of SSD was much cleared and for the nation spirit. Both the Organizations are belonged to militant in nature. Out of that, one belongs to Hindu religion and other is Buddhist. Its founder also belonged to brain policy maker. Out of that, RSS founder was totally involved in establishing their religious organization in countrywide level and his contribution of nation building not seem to be very much. Though the founder of SSD Dr. B. R. Ambedkar , who was rendered his services for the nation building. The main contribution of Dr. Ambedkar known to us that is written a “Constitution of India.”  It is why, Dr Ambedkar introduced to global history that as “Father of Indian Constitution.”  Another main contribution of Dr. Ambedkar is creating feelings of India-ism. The meaning of India-ism is “The feelings of I am Indian first and I am Indian last.” So I would like to introduce Dr. Ambedkar as “Father of mission India-ism.” Just I am working as a “Spreader of India-ism.”  Due to not creating the spirit of India-ism till today, we could not build India as “Power Nation.”  The people of India seems to us as Hindu, Buddhist, Muslims, Christians or Maharashtra -ions, Tamil-ion, Punjabi etc. but no one seen us as Indians. What a shameful things is this. Due to not creating this spirit, it developed caste-ism, communalism, corruption, terrorism etc.  Definitely the Congress Raj is more responsible for these causes.  But we could not make irresponsible to other political parties and society too. They also not performed their duties too.
Now the political governance power of India changed and it was ruled on the Baratiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliances. Mr. Narendra Modi emerged as a king maker and who introduced his new slogan “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat (Unite India, Supreme India).”  It is nothing one but it is introduced by a different name of India-ism. I am introducing Dr. Ambedkar’s this thought since 15 months before. Even I have written many articles on this topic on net and others media too. Mr. Modi sworn as a PM just few days before and introduced the same.  We have no problem that, who will take its initiative. But the question is for its implementation in practical way and not on the paper table.
If Mr. Modi will honestly to work for nation building, so first he should declare the newly “Ministry of Mission India-ism” and to appoint the secretariat for the said ministry as like the “Ganga River Project.” Through this ministry, it can be possible to promote India-ism feelings to every department of India including school and colleges. There is need to add this subject in the education syllabus. Ganga river project is a temporary project. There are lots of rivers and lakes of India are polluted. It is need to make it clean and purify. I am now very positive for the Modi’s good decision of foreign policy with making good relation with China. The economy of USA may be down in future again. So the ranking of USA’s powerful nation may be finished or down up. The economy of China is better that USA. If the relation with China will be good develop, we can control terrorism of Pakistan very easily. Secondly there is need of our support to China for establishing themselves as powerful nation. Now this competition is seen between China and USA. It is expecting the government will. If they follow it, it may possible to get result of peace, love and brotherhood too. It may promote to control on corruption, communalism, caste-ism etc. So Mr. Modi’s dream “Unite India, Supreme India” will be fulfilled.
Yesterday, RSS supremo Dr. Mohan Bhagwat was addressed to a gathering at Reshimbagh ground Nagpur on the occasion of conclusion of third year Sangha Shiksha Varga. He said, “He hoped that Narendra Modi NDA Government at the centre would work on the footsteps of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj. While welcoming changes in political situation in the country, he urged common man to join hands in the change for progress of the country. The country cannot be developed   by the politicians only, but all 125 crore citizens should given whole-hearted support to them. He urged for complete eradication of caste-ism, corruption and untouchbility from society and polity. Further he said, RSS is not working as Remote Control of new Government. The RSS has worked as per the guidelines of Election Commission of India and urged people to enroll them for voting and vote for right people and issues. He expected that the policies of new government would increase self-esteem and worked for pride of Indian Constitution and maintains its dignity. Further he said, Dr Ambedkar said that we got independence and equality but could not create a brotherhood.”  I think, this speech of RSS chief is different than of their Hindutva agenda. He was not raising their Hindutva feelings. Either it is change of their minds or ideas or hidden their different policies. Since a couple of year, I wrote a letter to them personally and even few articles on net and other Medias and appealed to them to change their ideas and to follow the way nationalism. i.e. India-ism.   If they change their minds and vision by heart, we must welcome them. Lot of people in the society is running harmful policies, but they realize it, we must welcome them. This is the same thing Buddha said.
But I would like to express my views about Dr. Ambedkar that Dr. Bhagawat and other may know it.  Dr Ambedkar spoke on constituent Assembly on the eve of presentation of  the “  Constitution of India” on November 26, 1949 that, “On the 26th of January 1950, India would be a democratic country in the sense that India from that day would have a government of the people, by the people and for the people. The same thought comes to my mind. What would happen to her democratic Constitution? Will she be able to maintain it or will she lose it again? This is the second thought that comes to my mind and makes me as anxious as the first.  ………………… The third thing we must do is not to be content with mere political democracy. We must make our political democracy a social democracy as well. Political democracy cannot last unless there lies at the base of it social democracy. What does social democracy mean? It means a way of life which recognizes lib fraternity as the principles of life. These principles of liberty, equality and fraternity are not to be treated as separate items in a trinity. They form arty, equality and fraternity as the principles of life. These principles of liberty, equality and a union of trinity in the sense that to divorce one from the other is to defeat the very purpose of democracy. Liberty cannot be divorced from equality; equality cannot be divorced from liberty. Nor can liberty and equality be divorced from fraternity. Without equality, liberty would produce the supremacy of the few over the many. Equality without liberty would kill individual initiative. Without fraternity, liberty would produce the supremacy of the few over the many. Equality without liberty would kill individual initiative. Without fraternity, liberty and equality could not become a natural course of things. It would require a constable to enforce them. We must begin by acknowledging the fact that there is complete absence of two things in Indian Society. One of these is equality. On the social plane, we have in India a society based on the principle of graded inequality which we have a society in which there are some who have immense wealth as against many who live in abject poverty. On the 26th of January 1950, we are going to enter into a life of contradictions. In politics we will have equality and in social and economic life we will have inequality. In politics we will be recognizing the principle of one man one vote and one vote one value. In our social and economic life, we shall, by reason of our social and economic structure, continue to deny the principle of one man one value. How long shall we continue to live this life of contradictions? How long shall we continue to deny equality in our social and economic life? If we continue to deny it for long, we will do so only by putting our political democracy in peril. We must remove this contradiction at the earliest possible moment or else those who suffer from inequality will blow up the structure of political democracy which is Assembly has to laboriously built up.
The second thing we are wanting in is recognition of the principle of fraternity. What does fraternity mean? Fraternity means a sense of common brotherhood of all Indians-if Indians being one people. It is the principle which gives unity and solidarity to social life. It is a difficult thing to achieve. How difficult it is, can be realized from the story related by James Bryce in his volume on American Commonwealth about the United States of America.”
At last, RSS and SSD both the organization’s nature of work are in different types. It is very difficult task to bring them on one platform. Even I am not pressing the same point. Now RSS is the most powerful and unite organization of India. While SSD is not seemed to be unite and it is divided in different parts. Though SSD may be divided, but their activists can fight or work on the national issue without any hesitation. This is strong energy of Ambedakrite movement. If these two organizations may think to plan for spreading and creating an India-ism feeling to our citizens, we can establish Dr. Ambeksar’s dream new India.  We are hoping so.
